Mr.Kabore Williams

Dear Kabore,

Let me start by saying that I loved reading your e-mail. You have such a lovely imagination and you write with such candor that it’s hard for me to admit the forgetfulness of my own mind. To my great regret, I have forgotten you and the actions you speak of. When should this assisting of the transferring of the funds have taken place, dear Kabore? Was it during my yoga-retreat in the hills of Sardegna? Had I taken it upon myself to use great amounts of drugs and black-out and go to another continent to help you carry boxes filled with blood diamonds? Did we speak of hidden treasures and the curves of your lovely assistant during these quests? These things you speak of – The Bank of Africa… Venezuela… – I wish I could say I’m overtaken by a tremendous wave of nostalgia, but it isn’t so. For I do not remember a single thing, dear Kabore. Not a single thing.

Might it have been the torrid heat that prohibited me from storing any memories during this undoubtedly adventurous time? It might indeed, dear Kabore. Indeed indeed indeed…

I do hope you can shed some light on these issues for me, if only to prevent me from questioning my own mental sanity HAHAHAHAHAHAHA.

About my family: I am with them fine. Life has thrown its fair share of challenges our way, but with the support of one another I’m confident we can look forward to a bright future. The $880.000 US Dollars that your secretary (what was her name again?) will send our way by VISA CARD, will also be of great help. It’s a lot of money and money is awesome. I use it very often, so it will come in handy. We’re all very excited over here and find it taxing to have to wait for it to arrive. But wait we shall.

Messaging that raunchy secretary of yours shall be my first action after I stop writing this electronic mail. I shall give her all the information required, so that I can finally buy all the Nikes and smartphones and garden appliances that I’ve always dreamed of, even if I do not own a garden. Not yet at least.

Thank you, dear Kabore, for making dreams come true.

Do write again soon.

With love,

Remco
